Man rides horse to work when gas prices rise

MINOT, N.D. -- Jim Jundt told co-workers if the price of gasoline ever hit $3 a gallon, he'd ride his horse to work. They laughed, but he wasn't joking. \nWhen pump prices shot up to $3.20 last week, Jundt awoke earlier than usual and mounted his 14-year-old mare, Patty. She carried Jundt 15 miles south of Minot to Goodyear Tire & Auto Service, where he works as a mechanic. \nJundt arrived just five minutes late. While he worked, Patty munched on a bundle of hay outside.
