The IU Health Center issued a public health alert today after a student was dignosed with bacterial memingitis. \nThe student, an 18-year-old freshman, is in critical conditon at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. \nOfficials are meetings tonight at 8 p.m. in Briscoe Quad, the student' s residence, to hand out oral doses of Cipro to any students possibly affected. \nSee tomorrow's IDS for updates.
