With today's issue, the Indiana Daily Student's daily summer publication run comes to an end. After 27 issues of breaking news, features, photographs, columns and other coverage, it has truly been a pleasure. But, we never could have done it without the help and support of a great number of contributors.\nThank you to the professional staff of the IDS for the guidance and coaching that helped all of us here become better journalists and better people. Thank you especially to Beth Moellers, who not only guided us as journalists, but reached out to us as a friend.\nThank you to the advertising representatives whose hard work provided for the paper's present as well as its future.\nThank you to the sources who graciously donated their time for interviews. President Adam Herbert sat down with an IDS reporter for our very first issue, setting a great tone for the summer. Thanks to him and all the other sources who appeared in our pages, talking to students and treating us with the respect and grace of professional journalists.\nThank you also to those who contributed to our new features. This summer we debuted two new features - CellPix and IU Angles. Both thrived thanks to readers' contributions. With CellPix, we got a wide array of intriguing cell phone photography. With IU Angles, professors and students weighed in on national and international issues. Thanks goes out in particular to political science professor Jeffrey Hart, who responded in nearly every issue.\nThanks to those in the community who wrote letters or called us with comments, concerns or critiques. We were not flawless and your e-mails and phone calls helped make us better and helped provide us a worldview greater than our own. Thanks especially to the members of the Muslim Student Union who came to us with their views and concerns. Your thoughts were not ignored.\nThanks to our wonderful staff of editors, designers, photographers and writers. Each member was an important piece of the IDS in every issue. We were lucky to be surrounded by a dedicated, hard-working and professional staff that was also a true pleasure to be around. Thank you for making the IDS newsroom such a wonderful place to work.\nLast, and perhaps most importantly, thank you for your reading and for making what we do worthwhile. Without readers, the efforts of everyone involved in the process would prove fruitless. You gave us the opportunity to do this and for that we are forever grateful.
