'Celebration Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow'

With the Monroe County Fair continuing through Saturday, community members can enjoy the rides, competitions, tastes and good times through this weekend. Admission to the fair, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the theme 'Celebrating, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,' is $2 a car, except for today after 4 p.m. when tickets are $7 and include parking, admission to the auditorium and carnival rides.\nTo get to the fairgrounds, take Second Street to the west side of town and make a right on Airport Road. After that, go several blocks and look for signs directing you to parking.
