Warrant issued for DeJesus

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Alberto DeJesus in connection with leaving the scene of a fatal accident at the intersection of Third Street and Hawthorne that occurred late Monday night. Senior Ashley Crouse was pronounced dead at Bloomington Hospital at 12:09 Tuesday morning as a result of the crash, an IU Police Department statement said. \nDeJesus is believed to be on a bus that he boarded on April 12 that is en route to Manor Park, Del. This information was obtained with the help of Joseph Clancy Clements, of the IU Spanish & Portuguese Department, who acted as an interpreter for Officer Brian Oliger. \nAuthorities in the Manor Park area have been contacted and faxed photos of the suspect. \nThe IUPD statement describes DeJesus, a Hispanic male estimated to be 23-years-old, as 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.
