Sociology professor to lecture on race\nDeirdre Royster, associate professor of sociology at the College of William and Mary, will give a lecture on race and employment from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Oak Room of the IMU. Her material will come from her new book, "Race and the Invisible Hand: How White Networks Exclude Black Men from Blue-Collar Jobs," which recently won the Oliver Cromwell Cox Award. Philosopher to address behavior\nStephen Downes, a philosophy professor at the University of Utah, will lecture on the application of using animal behavior in examining human actions. The lecture is sponsored by the Department of History and Philosophy of Science and will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday in Ballantine Hall 003.

Lecturer to speak on faith, Dostoevsky\nAssistant Professor of Russian Literature at Northwestern University Susan McReynolds-Oddo will present a lecture titled "You Can Buy the Whole World: Christian Faith and the Jews in Dostoevsky" at 6 p.m. March 2 in Ballantine Hall 006.
