Union Board goes for 'Adult Swim'\nThe Union Board will host an "Adult Swim" marathon at 9 p.m. tonight in the Whittenberger Auditorium. "Adult Swim" features cartoons with mature appeals, including "Family Guy," "Sealab 2021" and "Aqua Teen Hunger Force." Several of the programs shown tonight have never before aired on TV. Panel to discuss adoption issues\nMany families have found it extremely rewarding to adopt a child from another culture or race, but there are also unique struggles that come with cross-cultural adoptions. The Asian Cultural Center's "Over a Cup of Tea: Which Land is my Land: The Cross-Cultural Adoption Experience" panel at 7 p.m. tonight in the Bridgwater Lounge of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center will feature several students from multicultural adopted families, as well as members of the Bloomington chapter of Families with Children from China.\nFor more information e-mail acc@indiana.edu.
Ambassador to promote education\nStudent Ambassador for the British Council USA senior Jonathan Harris will be holding an informational meeting for students interested in graduate study in the United Kingdom at 7 p.m. tonight in Swain Hall West room 219. The British Council is a worldwide organization that performs cultural diplomacy for the British government, with a specific focus on education. Harris' presentation will cover the educational system of the UK and relate his experiences studying there as a junior.
Wright Place to hold Tanksgiving dinner\nThanksgiving may be more than a week away, but that isn't stopping Wright Place Food Court from putting together holiday dinners from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The menu will include carved roast beef, carved roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing, among other Thanksgiving favorites.
