Bloomington Youth Basketball Season II Coaching

City of Bloomington Parks & Recreation is seeking volunteer coaches for their Bloomington Youth Basketball League (BYB). This league focuses on basketball fundamentals and the application of learned skills during game participation. Coaches will teach players in grades K-6th.

CBVN Volunteer Fair Event Set-Up & Tear-Down

Looking for a quick and easy way to support local nonprofits? The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network needs volunteers to assist with set-up and tear-down of their CBVN Volunteer Fair event. The CBVN Volunteer Fair provides an opportunity for more than 30 local organizations to interact with community members and share information about their active volunteer opportunities.

Set-up volunteers will assist with the set-up of 8 tables and 16 chairs on the Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall. At the end of the event, tear-down volunteers will tear down those same tables and chairs and store them in their designated storage areas.

Morning Chores at The Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary

Interested in learning more about animal care? Become a Morning Chores volunteer at The Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary. Volunteers will help sanctuary staff feed and care for the Sanctuary’s 115 goats and 80 chickens during the morning chores shift - from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day.

Help Community Kitchen of Monroe County provide meals to anyone in need by fulfilling a wish from their wish list. The Community Kitchen’s Wish List items include canned fruit, canned vegetables, peanut butter, instant oatmeal, and more.
