Butler students console a grieving peer at a memorial service held in Indianapolis for James Davis, the Butler University Police officer and IU alumnus who was killed in a Sept. 24 shooting. Davis was shot when he responded to a call of a suspicious person inside the Hinkle Fieldhouse. The suspect, who fled the scene, was later killed in a shootout with Indianapolis police.
