Departments plan annual science \ncareer fair\nThe annual Biology & Chemistry Career Day will present representatives from companies such as Baxter Pharmaceutical, Cook Group Incorporated, Procter & Gamble and many others. The companies will be on hand to meet with students and discuss potential job openings. Sponsored by the Biology Academic Advising Office and the Career Development Center/Arts & Sciences Career Services, the event is designed to help students get jobs or internships. The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Jordan Hall atrium.

Fine Arts school to hold Internship Slam event\nStudents interested in internship and job opportunities can get information on how to build strong portfolios and interview skills. Past and present interns from the Indiana Memorial Union, WonderLab and the IU Alumni Association will be available to discuss what their jobs entail. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Fine Arts room 238. Refreshments will be provided.

Union Board to air 'The Terminal'\nAs part of the free Union Board Film Series, the summer blockbuster "The Terminal," starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones, will be shown at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. from Thursday through Saturday in the Whittenberger Auditorium located in the first floor of the Indiana Memorial Union. The movie focuses on an Eastern European man who must take up residence in an airport terminal. While there, he befriends the staff and falls in love with an airline flight attendant.

Professor to present astronomy findings\nGeoffrey W. Marcy, professor of astronomy at University of California Berkeley will deliver a speech, "Planets, Yellowstone, and Prospects for Life in the Universe" and present findings on his recent contribution to the discovery of a new class of planets with masses only 10 to 20 times that of Earth. The speech will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Rawles Hall, room 100. For more information, call 855-6398.

'Arbutus' to take yearbook portraits all week\nBecome a part of IU's 2005 Arbutus Yearbook by getting a free portrait sitting. Appointments are recommended, but not necessary.
