ACC celebrates moon festival\nAn Asian moon festival is a holiday for members of a family and friends to get together and give thanks. The event, sponsored by the Asian Culture Center, celebrates the harvest moon, when the crops have been gathered and heavy work in the fields is over. The free event, will feature the cultures and cuisine of Korea, China, Japan and Vietnam and will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Collins Living Learning Center Courtyard. Union Board to show 9-11 film\nAs part of its free film series, the Union Board will show the summer hit "Fahrenheit 9/11," Michael Moore's latest documentary that addresses why the U.S. has become a target for hatred and terrorism. The controversial film also depicts alleged dealings between two generations of the Bush and Bin Laden families that led to George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden becoming mortal enemies. The event is free for all students and the movie will be shown at 11 p.m. Friday in the Whittenberger Auditorium in the Indiana Memorial Union.
Alumni Center to hold open house\nThe Alumni Center will be open at noon Saturday, two hours prior to kick-off of the IU vs. University of Michigan football game, for refreshments and entertainment. Dance Marathon week kicks off\nThe entire week of Oct. 3 will be devoted to the big event that aims to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
