Wednesday morning brought relative calm, although the tension between Visteon and the members of the International Union of Electrical Workers-Communications Workers of America Local 907 grew. Despite this, all remained calm Wednesday; union members held signs and drivers honked their horns to show support. Union members blamed overly agressive tactics on the part of Visteon's hired security for the violence earlier in the strike, and were quick to voice their desire for a speedy resolution of the dispute. \nAlthough the strikers tried to remain optimistic, one longtime employee said, "I know I'll never see the inside of that plant again"
