Can any movie that starts out with sleepover friends Jenny McCarthy and Pamela Anderson wearing low-cut white blouses and Catholic schoolgirl skirts be that bad? Well, maybe. \nDavid Zucker's "Scary Movie 3" brims with delightful cameos and corny quips, but lacks in the narrative department. The movie spoofs "The Ring," "Signs" and "8 Mile," among others in its loosely connected scenes that make for precarious plotting. \nSimon Rex plays George, a character who combines the Eminem-esque protagonist of "8 Mile" with the baseball bat-wielding hero of "Signs." Charlie Sheen plays George's brother and Anna Faris plays his love interest, the ditzy Cindy Campbell, who returns from the first two "Scary Movies." While the all-star cast battles aliens and that spooky "Ring" girl, the movie just doesn't seem to come together. \nThe special features include several deleted and extended scenes, including an alternate ending, which offers a whole new twist on the story. It is quite obvious, however, why most of these scenes were deleted. The commentary is slightly amusing, and the making of the movie was dull. \nThe movie isn't a total bust. It's worth glancing at for a few laughs, and to see how Simon Cowell, Denise Richards, and that hilarious pair, Method Man and Redman, fit into the picture.
