The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction will name Julia Heiman the new director today. Heiman, who will also serve as a professor in the psychology department, will take the helm June 1, according to a statement.\nHeiman has been director of the University of Washington's Reproductive and Sexual Medicine Clinic since 1987. She is a published author, and her works include "Becoming Orgasmic: A Sexual Growth Program for Women."\nHeiman graduated in 1970 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She will replace current director John Bancroft. Bancroft, who is retiring, has served as director for the last nine years.
