MARTINSVILLE, Ind. -- Two Morgan County Jail inmates who apparently escaped by removing a piece of metal from a cell door and using it to break through a jail wall remained at large Sunday, sheriff's officials said.\nLaw officers from around Morgan County fanned out to search for the men Saturday night. On Sunday, authorities were investigating, but no active search was under way. The men may have been driving a van seen outside the jail around the time of the escape.\nThe men were last seen about 6 p.m. when they were served dinner. At 9 p.m., jail officers found a hole in Jamie Michael Collins' jail cell, Sheriff Robert Garner said.\nThe men apparently were able to loosen and eventually remove a piece of metal from a cell door in the medium-security section of the jail, Garner said. The metal was part of the frame that holds the window in the cell door. They used the metal to break through the cement block cell wall leading outside.\nThe cell was on the second floor of the jail, and the men apparently dropped down to the ground into 10 degree temperatures.\nThe men are identified as Jamie Michael Collins, 33, and Bradley Lee Pryor, 32, both of Martinsville. Collins had been held on robbery charges since Tuesday, and Pryor had been held since April on drug-related charges.\nAuthorities described Collins as white, 6-foot 1-inch tall and 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Pryor is white, 5-feet 10-inches tall, 165 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.\nThe van the men may have been driving was a white 1996 Ford Windstar registered in Indiana.
