IDS Weekend editors resign

After events unfolded concerning the IDS Weekend last week, the IDS has accepted resignations from Weekend editor Holly Johnson and Weekend features editor Meghan Dwyer, effective immediately.\nOver the course of the semester there have been repeated concerns about the magazine's content and editing, which have at times alienated readers and undermined the newspaper's credibility. Most recently, inappropriate editorializing appeared in last week's Best of Bloomington feature. These issues call into question Weekend's journalistic integrity and trustworthiness.\nBoth remaining Weekend magazine issues will be published as scheduled. Staff members of Weekend have indicated their willingness to take on more responsibility to get the magazine back on track and better serve its readers.
