Hillel Center holds memorial for bomb attacks in Israel \nThe Helene G. Simon Hillel Center will be holding a memorial ceremony for the victims lost in the bombings in Israel on Tuesday. \nTwin suicide bombings killed at least 13 people -- striking a bus stop crowded with Israeli soldiers in a Tel Aviv suburb and hours later, a cafe in a Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem. Both suicide bombers died in the attacks.\nSenior Daniel Farahan, one of the organizers of the events, said the attacks have a profound effect on many students at IU.\n"It is just so very unfortunate that Hamas has rejected any sort of peace in Israel," he said.\nThe memorial will be held at 5:15 p.m., today at the Hillel Center, 730 E. Blood drive comes to IU for Sept. 11\nThe Save a Life Tour 2003 will be having a blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m., Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday at the Main Library. It features a mobile museum filled with interactive displays about the importance of regular blood donation. Bloomington is one of 345 cities to be chosen to host the tour.
