Board nominates candidates

The Board of Trustees Nominating Committee nominated Frederick Eichhorn Jr. as board president and Stephen Ferguson as board vice president Thursday. Both Eichhorn and Ferguson currently hold these positions. Eichhorn has been president since April 2002 and Ferguson has been vice president since August 2002.\nThe board will vote on the nominations during its annual organizational meeting August 14 in Indianapolis. Officers are elected for a two-year term.\nThe other proposed officers are Robin Gress for secretary, Steven Miller for treasurer and Dorothy Frapwell for assistant secretary. All three are University employees and are not members of the Board of Trustees.
