The IU Police Department reported the following activity:
May 8\n• A female passenger in a vehicle was transported to Bloomington Hospital after a vehicle crash at 13th and Walnut Grove streets. \n• A white male, in his late 40s, with light brown hair and possibly on a bike was reported to have been exposing himself in front of Swain Hall. IUPD units checked the area, but failed to locate him. \n• A female student was transported to Bloomington Hospital after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Jordan Avenue north of Third Street.
May 9\n• Freshman Trevor Loe, 18, resident of Forest Quad, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol at Forest Quad. \n• Sophomore Kevin Coleman, 18, resident of Teter Quad, was issued a citation for illegal consumption and possession of false identification. \n• Freshman Glenn Brooker, 19, resident of Teter Quad, was issued a citation for illegal consumption and possession of false identification. \n• Freshman Brian Bar, 19, resident of Teter Quad, was issued a citation for illegal possession of false identification. \n• IU employee Daniel F. Fallon reported the computer lab was forced open at Ashton Center. Nothing was reported stolen. Estimated damage is $500. \n• Junior Samuel L. Riesen reported the theft of a radio from his vehicle while it was parked at 1440 N. Jordan Ave. Estimated loss is $200. \n• An employee reported the theft of 12 pennants from the poles just east of the golf course clubhouse. Estimated loss is $2,700. \n• Freshman Grady Randall reported the theft of his bike from Wright Quad. Estimated loss is $175. \n• Senior Sarah Easterday reported her vehicle broken into and items removed at 1442 N. Jordan Ave. Estimated loss is $180. \n• Junior Julia Schlee reported the theft of a laptop computer from her room at Read Center on March 10. Estimated loss is $1,200.
May 10\n• Junior John Ripley, 21, resident of 416 N. Clark St., was arrested in the vicinity of 10th Street and Fee Lane for public intoxication. \n• Senior Mark S. Rohrer, 21, resident of 416 N. Clark St., was arrested in the vicinity of 10th Street and Fee Lane for public intoxication. \n• Freshman Adam J. Tingle, 18, resident of Briscoe Shoemaker, was arrested in the vicinity of 10th Street and Fee Lane for possession of marijuana, illegal consumption, public intoxication and possession of false identification. \n• A juvenile male was encountered in the vicinity of Varsity Villas and referred to Monroe County Juvenile Probation for illegal consumption, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and possession of false identification. At 3:45 a.m., the subject was released to his mother at the direction of Juvenile Probation.\n• Junior Caroline Hackett reported the theft of a radio receiver from her residence at Hillcrest Apartments. There was no forced entry. Estimated loss is $400.
May 11\n• Senior Melissa A. Blake, resident of Forest Quad, reported the theft of her bicycle from a rack on the south side of Forest Quad. Estimated loss is $1,020. \n• An employee reported a break-in at the golf course equipment and maintenance shed. Estimated loss is $19,000. \n• Sophomore Rami B. Cham, resident of Ashton Center, reported the theft of his bicycle from a rack on the northeast side of the dormitory. Estimated loss is $320. \n• Sophomore Heather M. Majors, resident of Ashton Center, reported damage to and theft from her vehicle while it was parked on Sunrise Drive south of Ashton Hershey. Estimated loss is $500. \n• Junior Moonsung Cho, resident of Redbud Hill Apartments, reported the theft of a CD car radio from his vehicle while it was parked in the Redbud Hill Apartments' parking lot. Estimated loss is $380.\n• Sophomore Anshuman Das, a resident of Jordan Avenue, reported the theft of his bicycle from a rack on the north side of Teter Quad. Estimated loss is $350.
