Nothing says spring is here like four wheelers blasting through scenic terrain. Sony Games must have thought the same thing when it brought out "ATV Off-Road Fury 2." The game is sequel to a previous PS2 hit that brought the wild four-wheeler scene into gamers' counsel. The game offers tons of choices for bikes, racing uniforms and tracks so the game doesn't get old after continuous play. The features, including a multiplayer mode, an extensive season and even the freedom to simply roam the massive levels, make up for the mediocre graphics. The riders can pull off insane tricks that add to the race concept for an intense game that sets goals and plateaus to hurdle. The sound is pretty top-notch as gamers get the effect of the bikes and the difference in the exhaust. The game's most ingenious features is the hockey mode which pits gamers against an opponent as they speed around a slick hockey court and try to score with a gigantic puck. "ATV Off-Road Fury 2" packs a powerful punch and comes off as an entertaining alternative to Jet-Ski battles or snow-mobile sagas.
