The following activity was reported by IU Police Department:\n\nJan. 3\n• Nonstudent Stevan D. Tolbert, 53, resident of Cardinal Glen Drive, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement on North Jordan Avenue in front of the Musical Arts Center. \n• A male student, resident of Ashton Center, was transported to Bloomington Hospital for an apparent overdose of a prescription medication. The case in under investigation.

Jan. 4\n• Junior Charles E. Crowe, 21, resident of South Grant Street, was arrested for public intoxication at East 10th Street and Indiana Avenue.\n• Nonstudent Kenny L. Vonreuter, 36, resident of Georgia, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated per se, and driving with an expired license on the 45/46 Bypass.

Jan. 10\n• Nonstudent Jennifer L. Shaw, resident of Carmel, Ind., reported the theft of her 1990 gray Volvo, which was last seen in the area of the Business Building last October. Estimated loss is $4,400.

Jan. 12\n• Freshman Nathan T. Norris, 18, resident of Forest Quad, was cited for possession of marijuana.\n• Senior Melanie S. Brown, 23, resident of Amy Lane, was arrested for operating while intoxicated.\n• Freshman Tiffany D. Ellis, resident of Read Center, reported the theft of a blanket and jewelry from Read-Clark #441. Estimated Loss is $820.\n• Freshman Sarah Zenisek, resident of Read Center, reported her computer stolen from her room while she was on break. Estimated loss is $3,750.\n• Freshman Mi Rae Sa, resident of Evermann Apartments, reported the theft of her notebook computer from her residence. Estimated loss is $3,000.\n• Fire units and IUPD units were dispatched to a reported fire at Collins Edmonson basement. Damage was limited to a burnt mop and some burnt floor tiles.

Jan. 13\n• Freshman Charles T. Troup, 19, resident of McNutt Quad, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance, possession of a fake ID and possession of paraphernalia.\n• Freshman Sandy Danto, 19, resident of McNutt Quad, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance, illegal transportation of an alcoholic beverage, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a fake ID.\n• Freshman Ben J. Perecman, 18, resident of Bloomington, was cited for visiting a common nuisance.\n• Sophomore Matthew Shapiro, 19, resident of North Fee Lane, was cited for visiting a common nuisance\n• An employee reported the theft of a parking meter from the Von Lee parking lot. Estimated loss is $750.\n• An employee reported the theft of five chairs from Myers Hall, Rm. 209. Estimated loss is $629.\n• Freshman Dustin Greenburg, resident of McNutt Quad, reported the theft of several items from his room. Estimated loss is $150.\n• Freshman Zachary Koffler, resident of McNutt Quad, was arrested on Lingelbach Lane for illegal consumption, public intoxication, possession of marijuana and illegal possession of nitrous oxide.\n• Freshman Jonathan M. Howe, resident of Teter Quad, was arrested on Lingelbach Lane for illegal consumption, public intoxication and criminal mischief.
