NASHVILLE, Ind. -- The woods of southern Indiana are in full color for what could be the final good days for avid leaf-watchers this fall.\nTrees across the region have burst into fiery displays of gold, red and orange.\n"This is the week," Brown County State Park naturalist Stacy Mathies said. "Everything that hasn't changed will probably change this week."\nShe said the state park was packed with leaf-viewing visitors last weekend and she expected it will be even busier this weekend.\nA look at Brown County's color can be seen by going to on the internet and clicking on the "leaf cam" logo.\nThe camera in the Brown County State Park offers live online photos as well as a chart of the range of visible leaf colors.\nThe site also includes a friendly warning from naturalist Jim Eagleman on the hazards of color-watching: "Sugar maples are outdoing themselves with oranges and yellows so brilliant one almost needs a pair of sunglasses to look directly at them."\nLeaf-viewing this weekend, however, could be hurt by a weather forecast that predicts lows in the 20s and possible snow showers.\nBut the vivid displays of color will make even a chilly trip worthwhile, Mathies said.\n"A lot of the leaves are already starting to fall," she said. "Don't miss it"
