Dumpster fires burn across town spread out

Four to five trash bin fires were reported at around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in the areas of Dunn, Grant, Smith and Jordan streets, according to Bloomington Police Department officials. \nFirefighters arrived at one of the fires at Fourth and Dunn streets, taking precautions as they sifted through the garbage and making sure nothing was combustible.\nBloomington Fire Department Sgt. Anthony Eas said the rash of fires is probably a prank.\n"Something's definitely going on," he said. "Someone's probably just having fun."\nAs of press time, BPD couldn't comment on the possibility of investigation.
