IUSA manipulates meetings for car

The initiative to get students to vote is respectable. Manipulating an emergency meeting to purchase a luxury sports car is just plain stupid. IUSA sponsors a credit card to make a profit to have a large pool of money to spend on improving the quality of life for IU students (plural) and not just one lucky winner.\nIUSA just as easily could have voted to spend a few hundred dollars on a high tech DVD player for a raffle that would have also raised student interest in voting. This decision exemplifies the immaturity and irresponsibility of this IUSA ticket that was so unjustly "voted" into office. As a student, I want a representative government that uses its resources to actually benefit the students and the University. I do not understand how this actually passed. How many congress members were actually present? No IU student with a logical cell in his or her brain would vote yes to this wasteful and tasteless legislature.
