Weekend Previews

The NASCAR series invades Indianapolis beginning Friday through Sunday. The Craftsman trucks race at Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP) at 8 p.m. on Friday, with the Busch Series cars following at 7 p.m. on Saturday.\nThe Winston Cup stars -- including hometown favorites John Andretti, from Indianapolis; Jeff Gordon, from Pittsboro, Ind.; Tony Stewart, from Rushville, Ind.; and Ryan Newman, from South Bend, Ind. -- take to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) all three days. \nA mixture of Winston Cup, Indy Racing League and other top racing series drivers will also run in the International Race of Champions (IROC), a 40-lap event placing drivers in equally-prepared cars for a turn around the famed speedway.
