Student found dead Saturday

Student Yuming Leong died in his home Saturday. Bloomington police department Captain Joe Qualters said the cause of death appears to be a suicide. He was pronounced dead at 11:59 p.m.\nLeong, a junior biology major, was vice president of the Singapore Students Association. He was from Singapore. \nApril 25, Leong and three other passengers were hit by a semi-truck while riding in a Ford Explorer in Ann Arbor, Michigan. One of those passengers, Amanda Yeo, died as a result of the accident. \nLeong suffered minor bruises, said president of the Singapore Students Association James Tan. \nAccording to the Michigan Daily Newspaper, no alcohol was involved in the incident. \nTan said the SSA plans to hold a "simple send-off" for Leong later in the week. \nA wake will be held at Day Mortuary, 2701 E. Third St., Tuesday, April 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
