Parking Operations is accepting permit applications for the new academic year. Those interested can visit its homepage at www.parking.indiana.edu to start the permit application. The online application is available daily between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.\nThe web application will require you to authenticate using your Network ID. To complete the online permit application, applicants need license plate information for each vehicle he or she plans to register. Vehicle identification number is only required if the vehicle currently has metal or paper dealer plates. Registering a bicycle or a moped/scooter will require the serial number.\nA graduate appointee may purchase the 'A' or 'C' permit online, if the Dean of Faculties office has processed their contract. The permit issued will be based on the length of the contract as recorded by the Dean of Faculties office. If an applicant requires a permit immediately, he or she can bring his or her contract and vehicle registration to Parking Operations at Franklin Hall 006 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.\nPermits for only the fall semester will go on sale on Aug. 1 and online applications will be processed within three business days.
