Trustees to hold town meeting with students\nThe IU Board of Trustees will hold a town meeting on student issues as part of their regular meeting at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25 in the Oak Room of the Indiana Memorial Union.\nThe town meeting is open to all students and will take place during the meeting of the board's Campus Community Committee. \nThe board is spending much of the current academic year looking at various aspects of the undergraduate experience.\nThey will begin Friday's activities with a two-hour policy seminar on international students. \nStudents may address the trustees on any subject of their choosing, with the following guidelines:\nEach speaker will have five minutes to address the trustees.\nSpeakers are encouraged to present issues that pertain to all students, not just themselves. \nStudents wishing to address the town meeting must submit their names and topics to Robin Gress, secretary of the board, by Jan. 24. Submissions may be sent via e-mail (rgress@indiana.edu) or dropped off at the board's office in Room M005 on the mezzanine level of the IMU.\nLittle 500 rider call-out meeting today\nThe IU Student Foundation is hosting their annual Little 500 Mass Rider call-out meeting today at 8:30 p.m. for women and 9:30 p.m. for men in BU 219. Riders can learn about changes for the 2002 season and pick up the 2002 Little 500 Rider's Manual. For more information go to www.iusf.bloomington.com.\nAmerican Red Cross Bloodmobile on campus\nThe American Red Cross will be conducting a blood drive 2-7 p.m. today in the Formal Lounge of Wright Quad and 2-7 p.m. Thursday in the Edmonson Coffee House in Collins Living-Learning Center. \nThe American Red Cross River Valley Region provides blood to 56 hospitals across Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. According to an American Red Cross statement, every blood drive makes a difference because it is combined with approximately 15 other blood drives throughout the region that can help stabilize the overall blood supply. \nThe American Red Cross has set the goals at 40 pints for Wright Quad and 30 pints for Collins Living-Learning Center.\nTo be eligible to give blood, one must be 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health.
