WWF Tough Enough 2 Soundtrack

Many times a soundtrack to a film or television show will add to the audience's experience and make them like the film or show even more since they can now enjoy a compilation of the songs in their stereos as well as at the theater. The MTV incarnation of "The Real World" meets WWF (sorry, I mean WWE), "Tough Enough," has not only spawned four new additions to the wrestling line-up, but has also produced a soundtrack featuring all your favorite songs from the exciting episodes. Exciting episodes, like the one where the crazy guy shaved his head or the hot girl hurt her knee, featured bands like Cinder, Staind, Marz and Puddle of Mudd all playing their one hit in the background of the heart-pulsing action.
In actuality, the show wasn't that bad. While the show had its negatives, the soundtrack has even more.
Other than the two great songs by Weezer and Unwritten Law and a decent Rob Zombie track, everything else on the album is crap. The one-time decent Limp Bizkit supplies the CD its worst song by creating the same song the band has done over and over again for its short career.
The Bloodhound Gang also adds its own un-creativity to the album by supplying the soundtrack with their one-hit wonder "The Bad Touch (Remix)." Come on Gang, changing around the beat to the "Discovery Channel Song" and hanging on to that fourteenth minute won't guarantee another hit.
Another poor showing is the acoustic version of Puddle of Mudd's "Control." The worst part of this song is not when it's actually being played though. It's the 30 minutes afterwards when the listener cannot get the horribly irritating verse out of his head. And since I cannot listen to this song more than a couple of times, I do not know the correct words so I make up my own. Something like, "I love the way you lick on me, I love the way you mow my grass, I hate the way Mudd makes me feel, I can't control this stupid song." Obviously these are not the correct lyrics, but you too can make up similar ones to make the song more listenable.
If only the other songs could add something to the experience, but obviously they are not "Tough Enough" to be enjoyable.
Soundtrack almost as bad as the 'E'
