Anaheim's Murray moves from coach to GM\nANAHEIM, Calif. -- Bryan Murray stepped down as coach of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks on Thursday to become the team's senior vice president and general manager.\nHe replaces Pierre Gauthier, who was fired as GM on April 19.\nThe Mighty Ducks will begin a search for a new coach immediately.\nIn Murray's only season as its coach, Anaheim went 29-42-8-3 to finish 13th in the Western Conference and last in the Pacific Division. They missed the playoffs for the third consecutive season, falling 35 points shy of earning a postseason berth.\nHBO, Showtime set Tyson-Lewis pay-per-view\nNEW YORK -- The Mike Tyson-Lennox Lewis heavyweight title fight will be available on pay-per-view in about 50 million homes at a recommended price of $54.95 -- both record highs.\nHBO and Showtime wrapped up distribution deals with cable and satellite systems this week, they said Thursday. The June 8 fight at the Memphis Pyramid will be the first boxing match jointly distributed and marketed by the two cable networks.\nShowtime has a contract with Tyson; HBO has a deal with Lewis.\nTyson is ranked No. 1 by the WBC, and the fight will be a mandatory defense for Lewis, who regained the WBC and IBF titles by knocking out Hasim Rahman in the fourth round in November.\nMing shows talent in NBA workout\nCHICAGO -- Yao Ming, the 7-foot-5 Chinese center, held a workout for NBA scouts and team officials Wednesday, showing just why people have been raving about him since the Sydney Olympics.\n"He's more than what I would have anticipated," said former NBA coach P.J. Carlesimo, who ran the workout at Loyola University's Alumni Gym.\n"Somebody with that kind of size and the basketball skills he has, are impressive."\nSo impressive he could be the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft June 26. And if he doesn't go first, he'll go soon after.\nWhen Yao showed up for Wednesday's workout, there were 65 NBA scouts and team officials waiting, including Memphis Grizzlies general manager Jerry West, Miami Heat coach Pat Riley and New Jersey Nets general manager Rod Thorn.\n"For a guy this size, he can shoot the ball," West said.
