IUPD Blotter

The following activity was reported by the IU Police Department:\nApril 26\n• Junior Justin Dimos reported the theft of his backpack and lap top from the Main Library. Estimated loss is $1530.\n• Sophomore David York, resident of 7th Street, reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked on 8th Street. Estimated loss is $1200.\nApril 27\n• Freshman Missy A. Stewart, resident of McNutt Quad, reported the theft of a CD player and speakers from her vehicle while it was parked in the McNutt parking lot. Estimated loss is $200.\nApril 28\n• Freshman Daniel Heath Pabian, 19, resident of Teter Quad, was arrested and transported to Monroe County jail for illegal consumption and public intoxication. \nApril 29\n• Junior Amanda M. Wagner, resident of Gamma Phi Beta, reported vandalism to her vehicle while it was parked on the street in the 1300 block of North Jordan Avenue. Estimated damage is $300.\n• Freshman Jamie L. Kellenberger, 18, resident of Foster Quad, was stopped in Foster Quad and cited for possession of paraphernalia.\nApril 30\n• Christina Archibald, resident of Foster Quad, reported the theft of her bicycle from Assembly Hall. The theft occurred sometime after the end of October. Estimated loss is $200.\n• Tara Mayersky, resident of Hoosier Courts, reported the theft of a backpack and contents from the West Lounge at the Indiana Memorial Union. Estimated loss is $170.\nMay 2\n• Senior Edwin Keith Bryant, 22, resident of Forest Quad, was arrested on a warrant charging him with harassment in reference to a previous IUPD case.\nMay 3\n• Junior Peter C. Bergen, 21, resident of North Jordan Avenue, was arrested for public intoxication and illegal consumption in response to a disturbance on Kirkwood Avenue. He was transported to Monroe County jail.\n• Freshman Robert S. Dix, 19, resident of McNutt, was arrested for public intoxication and illegal consumption in response to a disturbance on Kirkwood Avenue. He was transported to Monroe County jail.
