African Studies to hold talk\nThe African Studies program will be holding a talk on "50 Years of Deforestation in Madagascar's Dry Forests: Who are the Real Conservationists?" The talk will take place at noon March 19 in Woodburn 218. For additional information call 855-6825.\nFilm 'Memento' to be shown for free\nThe film "Memento," which has been nominated for two Academy Awards, will be shown for free. The viewing will be at 7:30 p.m. March 20 in the Chemistry 001. A discussion of mystery and memory will be held after the showing.\nVSB begins 'Cans for a Cause' drive\nThe Volunteer Student Bureau is holding a food drive in an effort to help Hoosier Hills Food Bank. It is currently asking groups on campus to participate in the four-week long food drive by e-mailing vsb@indiana.edu. "Cans For A Cause" will last from March 20 to April 14. \nKappa Delta to hold fundraiser\nKappa Delta Sorority, 1005 North Jordan, will be holding its annual Shamrock event on March 24. The event, marked by a "Survivor" theme, will consist of field activities and team competitions. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Prevent Child Abuse America. Donations can be sent directly to Kappa Delta Sorority.
