Alpha Phi Alpha hosts Spring \nWeek 2002\nAlpha Phi Alpha is hosting events throughout the week. \nTonight Tyron Cooper, director of IU Soul Revue, will perform music at the Neal-Marshall Black Cultural Center starting at 7:30 p.m.\nOn Wednesday, "The Future of Black America" will be discussed at 7:30 p.m. in Wright Formal Lounge. Politics, education, entertainment and sports will be the topics focused on during the discussion.\nA black knowledge bowl is being held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center. \nAlpha Phi Alpha will be hosting "Saturday Night Live" at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building.\nOn Saturday night, the fraternity will host a Mardi Gras party at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni hall.\nDonations for the Martin Luther King memorial will be taken at each event. \nHillel sponsors lecture on ancient Israel\nThe Helene G. Simon Hillel Center, 730 E. Third Street, is sponsoring a lecture March 6 about "The Problem of Kingship in Ancient Israel." \nA free lunch will precede the lecture and will begin at 11:15 a.m. The lecture is scheduled from 11:45 to 12:45. \nThe lecturer is Professor James Ackerman, an emeritus professor of religious studies and Jewish studies. \nNo reservations are necessary, and additional information can be requested at 855-0453.\nEating Disorder Screening and Awareness Day\nFree anonymous screenings and educational information will be available Thursday. \nThe screenings will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m in the atrium of the School of Education and from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in Ballantine Hall. \nFor more information e-mail: moday@indiana.edu or call 857-5711.\nUnion Board presents "40 Days and 40 Nights"\nA sneak preview of the film "40 Days and 40 Nights" is being presented by Union Board tonight. \nThe movie is about a young man who swears to avoid physical contact with females for the 40 days of Lent.
