Terrorism discussion Saturday

Retired CIA agent Leutrell Osborne will give a lecture about U.S. response to terrorism at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Oak Room at the Indiana Memorial Union.\nOsborne worked with the CIA for 26 years and is considered an expert on counter terrorism, said Frank Motley, assistant vice chancellor for academic support and diversity.\nOsborne will share insight for how the government and CIA are reacting to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 and are dealing with the possibility of more terrorism, especially if it is intensified, Motley said.\n"Terrorism isn't new," Motley said. "The world has a history of terrorism and Leutrell is someone who has an up close and personal perspective on international relations and terrorism. He can provide information beyond the headlines."\nThe lecture is free and open to the public.
