Junior finishes 89th in 2nd time\nat nationals\nJunior Chad Andrews placed 89th out of 244 in his second national cross country championships. \n The event was held at Furman University on the Paladins' golf course.\nAndrews said his goal was to finish in the top 45, but fell about 30 seconds short. \n"Overall, I'm a little disappointed," Andrews said in a press release. "I had a little bit of an off day and when the field is that deep, like coach said, it's going to make a difference."\nWomen's basketball signs 5 recruits\nWomen's basketball coach Kathi Bennett signed five student-athletes during the early signing period from November 14-21.\nThe class consists of three guards, a forward and a center. \nCyndi Valentin (Bloomington/Bloom-ington South HS), LeeAnn Stevenson (Garland, Texas/Lincoln Trail CC), Angela Hawkins (Winter Haven, Fla./Winter Haven HS), Brigett Branson (Marshall, Ind./Turkey Run HS) and Kali Kullberg (Mound, Minn./Orono HS) round out the recruiting class for the 2002-2003 season.
