Two arrested in fight at Kilroy\'s Sports Bar\nPolice responded Wednesday to a disturbance call at Kilroy's Sports Bar, 319 N. Walnut St., where a fight had been reported, police said.\nWhen police arrived at the scene, the manager of the bar informed them that there had been an altercation between two patrons, police said. The manager told the officers that he had warned the two men that their behavior was not appropriate, but after one of the men hit the manager, he had them thrown out, police said. Outside of the establishment, police had to again warn one of the men for their disorderly conduct, but the man continued to egg on the other party involved in the altercation and was subsequently arrested, police said.\nPhillip Hawking, 22, of Fort Wayne, was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and a misdemeanor possession of marijauna. Hawking was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Center where he was released on $750 bail Wednesday night.\nThe other party involved in the altercation, junior Nathan King, 21, of the 1200 block of North Jordan Avenue, was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Center. King was released of his own recognizance.\nMan arrested for battery\nPolice responded early Thursday morning to a disturbance call at Uncle Elizabeth's, 502 N. Morton St., where a man had battered another man, police said.\nPolice report when they got to the scene the suspect was no longer present, but witnesses described him as wearing a yellow shirt. Police encountered a man fitting the description of the suspect at the intersection of Fourth Street and College Avenue, police said. Officers reported that when they began to approach the suspect, he started to repeatedly squat to the ground and then jump in the air. The suspect then walked a short distance and began to beat his head against a nearby utility pole before being successfully apprehended, police said.\nChristopher Heacock, 28, of the 1400 block of Monon Drive was arrested for battery, public intoxication and criminal mischief. Heacock was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Center where he was later released of his own recognizance.
