IU sophomore Daniel Kuhn named athlete of the month in Indiana by USA Track and Field

Sophomore Daniel Kuhn was named Indiana Athlete of the Month on Tuesday by USA Track and Field.

Kuhn has had a dominant season so far for IU. He broke the school records for the 800 and 600 meter runs in a six-day span earlier this season.

He won Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week two times in January and once more in February for his performance at the IU Relays at the end of January.

Kuhn’s 600 meter time is currently the best in the country and seventh all-time among collegiate athletes, and his 800 meter time is currently No. 14 in the country.
