Enjoy Bloomington's sights and flavors this week

Beer and BBQ
FARMbloomington will present another event in its Gourmet Club Dinners series with the “Beer and BBQ Dinner” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The meal will include a selection of Bloomington Brewing Company beers to pair with each barbecue-inspired dish.

Arts Fair on the Square
The 33rd annual Arts Fair on the Square will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 22. Events include live performances by the Bloomington Community Band, Windfall Dancers, Dark Side Tribal belly dancers and Different Drummer Belly Dancers.

Taste of Bloomington
Forty-six Bloomington restaurants will take part in the 31st annual Taste of Bloomington festival from 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Vendors will serve up fare from City Hall’s Showers Commons. Admission is $7 and children under 12 get in free.

Project in Motion
Project in Motion, a group of aerial dancers from New Mexico with roots in the Midwest, will perform “The Palace at Night” at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater at 8 p.m. Saturday.

“The Palace at Night” will showcase five dancers representing themes of birth and transformation, dancing while suspended from a steel structure.

Garden Walk
The 2013 Bloomington Garden Club’s Garden Walk will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
 
Guests can tour six private gardens and see a garden show at the Monroe County History Center, which is free with a Garden Walk ticket.

Tickets are $10 and available at the Monroe County History Center.
