I’m paying nearly $1,500 per semester in extra tuition and fees that are unexplained or that fund programs I have no input into and will never use, and you may be paying too. Would any good customer pay an extra $1,500 for something without getting a full explanation of what the money was going towards first, much less without agreeing that this large sum went to things that were needed and useful?

Watford led IU with 23 points as the Hoosiers rode strong runs to begin each half to a 99-45 blowout win against Sam Houston State at Assembly Hall in their second of four games in the Progressive Legends Classic. The 54-point win was the fourth-largest margin of victory in school history.

Rushing game looks to improve

Whatever the problem has been in the Hoosiers’ (4-6, 2-4) rushing attack, they will look to resolve it on Nov. 17, as they face Penn State (6-4, 4-2) in University Park, Pa.

State labor force growth slowing, study shows

Indiana’s labor force grew by an average of 310,000 workers per decade between 1950 and 2000, a change the study said was caused by a population increase in the baby boomer generation and the increasing number of women choosing to enter the workplace.
