Hoosier wrestling remains winless in Big Ten play

After a match on the road last weekend, IU wrestling was back in full force Friday night in University Gym. Squaring off against the No. 17 Michigan Wolverines in the second-to-last home match of the season, the Hoosiers suffered a 30-13 defeat, remaining winless in the Big Ten.

Child molest case reported to BPD

The victim told police that in April 2012, a 39-year-old male known to her family was at her residence on the north side of Bloomington, and the two were watching a movie, BPD Sgt. John Kovach said.

The International Latin American and Spanish Students Association began the semester with its usual coffee hour Friday, which included enchiladas and flautas from El Norteno, Latin American music and an introduction by the executive board members.

Miller and his bench picked up technical fouls within a minute of each other in the second half that allowed Ohio State to extend its lead to 10 points. The Buckeyes survived the ensuing IU comeback effort to beat the Hoosiers 70-56 in Assembly Hall.

Bloody sword found, alleged backstabber arrested

Bloomington police officers entered a South Madison Street residence at about 10:30 p.m. Friday to find a man lying face-down in the living room next to a sword coated with what appeared to be blood.
