The IU men's basketball team beat Georgia 66-53 in the semi-finals of the Progressive Legends Classic Monday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The IU men’s cross country team and sophomore women’s runner Kelsey Duerksen will compete in the NCAA Championship meet Nov. 17. The meet will be in Louisville, Ky., at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park and conclude the 2012 cross country season.

Watford led IU with 23 points as the Hoosiers rode strong runs to begin each half to a 99-45 blowout win against Sam Houston State at Assembly Hall in their second of four games in the Progressive Legends Classic. The 54-point win was the fourth-largest margin of victory in school history.
