Craig Dedelow’s decision to return to IU for his senior season paid off. After being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 34rd round of the 2016 MLB Draft, the centerfielder decided to improve his draft stock.

IU Baseball: Lexington Regional recap

After a disappointing appearance in the Big Ten Conference tournament a couple of weeks ago, IU was given a two seed in the Lexington Regional hosted by the Kentucky Wildcats.

IU drops NCAA Tournament opener in extra innings

For 11 innings on Friday night in Lexington, Kentucky, nothing could separate IU and North Carolina State in their NCAA Tournament Opening Round game. Then, the ball bounced the way of the Wolfpack. In the 12th inning, NC State junior infielder Stephen Pitarra sent a bouncing ball towards IU freshman shortstop Jeremy Houston.
