With 62 sugar babies on campus, IU is No. 17 in the nation for number of collegiate sugar babies. New York University is No. 1 with 185 babies. America's untalented idolatry

Where has all of the talent gone? Most of these shows feel like semi-talented live-band karaoke rather than a competition of America’s best vocal performers. I honestly think this is why these shows should lose their relevance.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon brings Afrojack to Little 5

Sigma Alpha Epsilon has partnered with Bloomington-based MES Presents to bring Dutch music producer and DJ Afrojack to campus for a Little 500 concert. Afrojack was named the No. 7 DJ of 2011 by DJ Mags.

Jacobs students to play at Kennedy Center

Four Jacobs School of Music students will be participating in the Conservatory Project at 6 p.m. today at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The performance will be live-streamed by the Kennedy Center.

Four IU faculty members receive teaching honor

On Monday, Glenn Gass joined IU professors Colin Allen, Olaf Sporns and Richard Wilk as they were honored as “Provost Professors” at an induction ceremony in the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center. Professor Stephen Watt also received the Tracy M. Sonneborn Award at the ceremony. Faculty members were recognized for achieving local, national and international distinctions in teaching and research.
