Cutters, Teter win Team Pursuit

Heading into this weekend’s Team Pursuit competition, both Teter and Cutters had large leads in the overall standings based on their individual performances. It was only fitting that they continued their reign on top with victories Saturday, establishing the them as the best overall teams going into the Little 500.

Crean-Greenspan Memorandum of Understanding released

New IU men's basketball coach Tom Crean signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IU director of athletics Rick Greenspan that will ensure him an annual base salary of $600,000 and the use of two university vehicles.  DOCUMENT:  Crean MoU

Gordon to enter NBA draft

Freshman guard Eric Gordon will end his college career by entering the NBA draft after one season at IU, the Indianapolis Star reported late Thursday. Gordon led the Big Ten in scoring this season. He is projected to be selected in the top 10.  BLOG:  Basketblog

Riders ready for final tune-up

Individual Time Trials showed which rider is the fastest after four laps. Miss-N-Out showed which rider can out-race the competition. Thus far, the Little 500 series events have only determined the top individuals. Until now.

Curtain rises on student-led theater troupe at Collins

Wednesday night’s debut of playwright Noah Haidle’s “Mr. Marmalade” at the Collins Ernest Bernhardt-Kabisch Coffeehouse was a success, as the exuberant eight-person student cast made audiences gasp and giggle at Haidle’s bleak comedy.

Buskirk to host African American Dance Co.

Luminescence Project will be ‘ensnaring hate’

I’ve had a pretty nasty cold this week, thanks to the fickle Indiana spring weather. But Tuesday night as I watched a cast of about 15 dancers jump and jive all across the stage to the melodious sounds of Billy Joel hits, I forgot all about my cold.
