While part of the team is competing at the Texas Relays, another 11 IU men’s and women’s track and field athletes have headed to Palo Alto, Calif., for the Stanford Invitational. And they have only one event on their mind — the 5,000-meter run.

IU travels to MSU for weekend set

The IU softball team plays in its second Big Ten series this weekend against Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich. Play starts with a game at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by a 1 p.m. game Saturday. IU closes the weekend with a 1 p.m. matchup Sunday.

McCowan sentenced for Bach murder
