Tracks cleans up shop, adapts to changing times

Over the years, small businesses on Kirkwood Avenue have been replaced by more commercialized venues. But Tracks, locally owned and in business for 21 years, has evaded this trend and continues to sell old records, new and used CDs and DVDs and local bands’ music.Recently, the small music store began renovations to help customers have a more satisfying experience, manager Andy Walter said.

The IU baseball team was unable to hold onto an 8-3 lead against Louisville on Tuesday, falling 10-8 to the Cardinals. The loss was the Hoosiers' second to Louisville in the month of April.

Graduates flocking to service programs

Ahmadinejad drops Holocaust denial from speech

A day after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad caused an uproar with a speech attacking Israel at a U.N. conference on racism, the U.N. said Tuesday that Ahmadinejad had actually dropped language from the speech that described the Holocaust as “ambiguous and dubious.”
