Hypodermic needles and rotting food covered the floor of a hotel room in which Bloomington police officers found a man and his 3-year-old son residing.

Bloomington Transit passengers were evacuated from buses Tuesday morning after the company received a bomb threat by telephone at about 10:30 a.m.

Kenneth Aker Jr., who was arrested Saturday on charges of neglect of a dependent, said he could take care of his dependent's bed sores. She died Saturday.
