Flesh Blood Bone

Flesh, blood and bone featured from Fuller

Using flesh, blood and bone, artists created works that question life and death. The artwork went on exhibit at the Margaret McCalla School on Friday as part of the Fuller Project “Flesh, Blood and Bone.”

Student arrested after allegedly striking nurse

IU police did not initially arrest student Keegan Leisz, 18, for public intoxication or illegal consumption, but they did so after he allegedly assaulted an IU-Health Bloomington Hospital nurse.




IU vs. Purdue

Abell’s aim sinks Purdue

Purdue forward Robbie Hummel said the Boilermakers scouting report would allow Remy Abell to shoot the 3-pointer. The IU freshman guard who averaged 3.2 points per game had never played in Mackey Arena. He had only hit five 3-pointers in his entire IU career. He hadn’t even attempted a 3-pointer in the game.

It may have been almost 50 degrees Friday night in Bloomington, but many skiers and snowboarders had the chance to show off their moves at the IU Ski and Snowboard Club’s Rail Jam.

Saturday night, the IU Marching Hundred played for a smaller crowd of teachers, friends and family. Twenty hours later, they would be performing before an audience of more than 60,000 screaming football fans.





Women's Basketball v. Iowa

Hoosiers lose to Iowa at Assembly Hall

After staying toe-to-toe with the Iowa Hawkeyes (14-10, 6-5), the Indiana women’s basketball team (5-19, 0-11) again fell short in its conference matchup, losing 83-64 Sunday afternoon in Assembly Hall.
