IU falls to Michigan State on the road

Facing IU Sunday afternoon, Michigan State’s Jay Chapman scored his first career goal, a strike from 22 yards away in the 43rd minute. He went on to score twice more, giving him a hat trick and the Spartans a 3-1 win on their senior day at DeMartin Stadium.

Brother reflects on Ashley Crouse's IUDM legacy

Ashley Louise Crouse died after the car she was in was hit by a drunk driver in April 2005 after an IU Dance Marathon meeting. At the time, Ashley was the IUDM vice president of communications. Seven years later, her brother and IU alumnus Casey Crouse reflects on Ashley's lasting influence on IUDM.

Authorities receive report of police impersonator

At about 3:45 a.m. Friday, a man told Bloomington police he was sitting in his car in the parking lot of Varsity Gate apartments. He was there to pick up his girlfriend when a male exited a model police car, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria.
