Recruit experts analyze Hagen's departure

Assistant Coach Mark Hagen left the Hoosiers in favor of a job at Texas A&M, IU confirmed Wednesday afternoon. As the recruiting coordinator for the team, Hagen has put together one of the best classes in IU history, currently ranked in the top 50 nationally by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.

In his two seasons with the Hoosiers, Hagen coached defensive tackles Adam Replogle and Larry Black Jr. into the team’s two leading tacklers for loss and sacks in 2012.

Oliver becomes 16th commit for 2013

The IU football program received word of its 16th commitment to its 2013 recruiting class Thursday evening, as linebacker Marcus Oliver from Hamilton High School in Ohio has pledged to the Hoosiers.
